Circle time is where we sing songs, play games, dance, read books and
talk about our theme for the month. Children are encouraged to talk and express themselves to enhance their language skills. We think of ways to get the shy ones talking. The pre-school teachers
plan learning units around seasons, plants and animals, community helpers, manners, foods, etc. Opportunities are given to experience math and numbers, writing and the learning of letters.
Another goal with the preschool children is to encourage them to be creative through cutting, painting, drawing, and gluing. Each day helpers are appointed to help set up the table and to serve
lunch. All meals are eaten family style with the teachers directing the meal.
